"God loves my pants" - a quote from Kellan.
I have repeatedly told the boys not to step on ants on purpose. Camden thinks every ant is a red ant that's going to bite him. Kellan matter of factly told me "We kill bugs because we're boys".
Camden's very competitive. Thankfully, Kellan's not. Every time they play a game Camden announces "I won!" (Usually it's a game that Camden has made up the rules to). Kellan squeals with delight and announces "I lost!".
As I was getting Camden dressed the other morning, I realized the shirt said "Mommy's Little Noisemaker". I came to the realization that just because he can fit into size 12 month shirts, the sayings might not be appropriate anymore for a 5 1/2 year old...
Out of the blue Kellan said "I'll like Pee Wee when I'm older". I didn't ask...
When picking up the boys from school, I was talking to another mother. When we left, Camden said "well that was awkward". I actually had thought I was being pretty cool. :(
I don't know why, but every single time the boys and I shop at Albertson's they spend most of the time belly laughing. I don't necessarily think grocery shopping is that funny, but they sure do. At least it puts a smile on the face of the other shoppers.
I dropped the boys off at school and their class was on the playground. Camden cooly walked in and said hi to his friends. Kellan took off running as fast as he could and tumbled into the woodchips. He never looked to see if anyone saw, just got up and went on running again. When he runs, his arms swing a lot fast that those little porcelain legs.
I've been falling asleep on the couch lately watching TV. (Or TD as Camden calls it). On this particular night I actually went to my bed to sleep. I heard a little critter get up in the middle of the night and pitter patter to the living room. Instead of telling him where I was, I laughed silently to myself. There was a bit of hesitation, then pitter patter pitter patter into my room. I don't even think Kellan was phased...
Camden just sobbed because he doesn't think I write about him enough on the blog. Here goes "Camden Camden Camden Camden Camden Camden Camden".

I was drinking sparkling water. I had it on the table and Kellan ran up and asked if it was pop. I said, "no, it's water". He replied "I know it's pop because I can see the polka dots in there"...
Grammy and Granfy got the boys ice cream bars. Both boys have kind of become obsessed with peanuts because I think there are kids in their class that may have nut allergies. While the boys do not have nut allergies, thank God, they are a tad ridiculous about making me pick every peanut off their drum stick ice cream cone. I accidentally handed Kellan his cone without picking off the peanuts. He ran up to me and screamed that he needed the "beans" taken off his ice cream cone right away.
I woke up to a Camden monkey face in my face. I looked out of the corner of my eyes, and Kellan came running in the room like a crazy man/plane/ something. It was a good way to wake up!
Kellan spent the day at Grammy's office. He met a new friend Joel, that's half his age, but twice his size. I asked Kellan if he had fun playing with Joel. Kellan matter of fact corrected me - "His name is Goal, Mom, not Joel!"
Kellan just stepped on the scale so he can see how old he is...
I asked Kellan if he had any girlfriends. He said Emerson, and he doesn't know what the crazy one's name is...
