June 30th, 2011

Camden was SO whiny this morning. I think it's from taking the bottle away. Poor guy just doesn't understand. Ever since he got the nose spray from the doctor he hasn't been snoring. I have to actually go in the room to check on him at night instead of being able to hear him from our room.
He reached for the teacher today at school but was crying. The teacher said he is starting to play a lot more. She said when he first moved to Room 3 he would just sit in a chair all day and observe everybody. Now he's joining in on the fun!
We had to wake Kellan up for school this morning. He was all smiles. Only at Dad of course. Then he had to announce his arrival at school by screaming at the top of his lungs. I dropped him off and ran.
Camden was in the advanced Lil Snappers class tonight for the first time. He was whiny but did well. He was underwater and swam toward the edge of the pool and pulled himself out!
Dad was eating potatoes and blowing on them before he ate them. Camden watched him and then did the same thing. So cute.
When I picked up Kellan from school the teacher was holding him and a couple of parents were looking at him and commenting on how cute he was. I said he was a monkey and they agreed. Then when they saw Camden everyone commented on how much alike they looked. I still don't see it.
Miss Veronica said Camden got so mad today. He eats slower than the rest of the kids so the kids start trying to take Camden's snack. Camden freaks out because he loves his food. Miss Veronica said she shielded Camden until he was done with his snack.

June 29th, 2011

Kellan is at that point where he'll be eating more than 4oz at a time. He finishes the 4oz quickly and then looks at me for more. I'm scared he'll spit up, but it looks like we need to be making 6oz at a time now. He's going to outgrow Camden in no time.
Camden and I went for our walk again this morning. We saw cars and dogs and only waved at the pretty girls.
Camden is in love with Genevieve on the Disney Channel. She came on today singing about vegetables and he was dancing all over the place.
No bottle for Camden this morning. This cold turkey stuff may work.
Camden was thinking about Grandpa Dick today so he wore his fireman onesie!

June 28th, 2011

Camden had a pretty bad coughing fit at around 3 this morning, so much to Dad's chagrin I brought him in the bed with us. How does such a little guy take up so much room! At one point Camden kicked me so hard I yelled at Nick. I seriously thought that Nick had accidentally kicked me. That's how hard Camden smacked me!
Nick woke up to Camden plucking his eyelashes. I told him that's what he gets for having such long beautiful lashes.
While Nick was in the shower I was out in the living room with the boys. Camden was playing on his Vikings blanket and I was on the computer. Suddenly Camden said "uh oh" about 75 times. I looked up and he was looking and pointing to his diaper screaming uh oh. I checked him out and he had had an explosive blow out. Thank God he was on an easily washable blanket. I did think it was pretty funny that he said uh oh about the blowout. Maybe it won't be so hard to start potty training him.
Come to think of it now, Camden didn't cough one time once I brought him into our bedroom. That little actor!
We have been wanting to get Camden off the bottle for a while now. Nick and I decided tonight was the night and we're doing it cold turkey. Poor little guy whined and whined but we explained to him that he's a big boy now. He finally took his sippy cup and went to bed. We'll see how this goes...

June 27th, 2011

As I was leaving the house today I asked Nick if my outfit looked okay. He said it was a lot better than some of the things I wear. Sigh...
I had two crying boys to drop off at school today. Miss Allison said there's nothing wrong with Kellan, he just wants to make sure everyone knows he has arrived. Poor Camden grabbed me and didn't want to let go. The teached had to pry him out of my arms. That just absolutely broke my heart. She said he'll be fine though because they're taking them outside first thing this morning and Camden loves to play outside. Poor puppy.
Camden found a new food he loves for dinner. Pancakes dipped in spaghetti sauce. He says don't knock it 'til you've tried it.

June 25th, 2011

This is what Nick woke up to this morning. A little hand tap tap tapping him. He looked and Camden was standing there with his bib in his hand. I guess he wanted to eat. So Nick fed the 17 1/2 pounder. Nick went back to sleep on the couch and a little later he felt a little hand tap tap tapping him. This time the hand was covered in poop. Camden had a little explosion. And proceeded to wipe it on Daddy's arm. It was everywhere!
We went to Nick's fraternity house today with the kids. It was kind of odd for him to have his kids there. Those were his rock star days. Camden peeled a sticker off someone else's stroller and handed it to me. I really hope that family didn't want that sticker anymore.

June 24, 2011

Nick went to pick Kellan up the other day and Miss Marji didn't recognize him for a minute. Then she was like Oh hi Nick so sorry. Miss Marji and I were laughing about that the other day and I said see- this just shows I drop the kids off way more than Nick does! :)
I dropped Kellan off at 9am yesterday and told Miss Allison that I had fed him 4oz at 8:30 so he should be good for a while. She said if he's not, I'm going to stick him in the corner and have a student teacher conference with him. I hope this is not an indication that Kellan's going to be a little troublemaker in school.
Camden said hi to his old Room 2 teacher Miss Rikki today. She said she missed changing Camden and seeing his pinocchio legs. So funny!
When I went to pick the boys up after school, Miss Veronica came running up to tell me Camden seemed much better today. She said the only time he was upset was when another kid came to close to him. She said he would scream if a kid sat too close to him or walked too close to him. She was cracking up. She said it would take her 5 minutes to calm him down today but he's usually very social. Ha! I guess the toddlers were getting on his nerves today.
Poor Kellan has girl pacifiers. Poor guy. Mom was in a rush at Walgreens and that was the only kind they had in his size. I don't think he minds though.
I am not making an ounce of this up. I was sitting on the couch with Camden tonight.I kept asking if he was ready for night night and he kept shaking his head. Finally without warning he sat up and handed me his bottle. While I took his bottle and put it on the table, he was undoing his bib. Took it off himself. I asked if he was ready for night night and he waved to Dad and Kellan and pointed to the bedroom. I put him in his crib on his back, he plopped over on his stomach, and he is now in there snoring peacefully. And people think parenting is hard. I got this down pat! :)

June 23rd, 2011

9 months 'til my birthday. Oh God! Just hearing 9 months makes me sick to my stomach.
Camden babysat for the first time today. Both boys were out in the living room and I had to take a shower. I looked and Camden and asked if he would be a good boy while I was in the shower and keep and eye on his brother. He nodded and looked at me with a "called to duty" expression. This was serious business to him and he was going to give it his all. When I got out of the fastest shower of my life the kids and house were actually still intact. Unless of course Camden put the cap back on the poison and cleaned up all the evidence...
I took Camden to the doctor today. He has a little virus. He weighs only 17 1/2 lbs :(.
He was just bawling his eyes out because the doctor had to look into his throat. She had to leave the room to get something and Camden waved through his immense tears. So cute.

June 22nd, 2011

Had the best morning with my boyfriends. Kellan was snoozing peacefully in his pack n play. Camden and I laid in bed and talked and talked. We pointed at our noses, eyes and mouths! He's such a smart and sweet guy!
I called Nick who was home with the boys and heard a little boy talking in the background. I assumed it was Camden, but Nick said no it was Kellan. Kellan was carrying on a conversation with SpongeBob. It seriously sounded like a little boy talking!
I was standing in the bathroom and kept feeling a tug on my pant leg. When I looked down I realized Camden had been using my pant leg to wipe his nose. After doing this several times, I finally went and got him a kleenex.
Camden was making a funny face in the tub. I asked him if he was pooping and he shook his head no. My first mistake was believing that answer. A huge poo poo came out of his little white butt in the tub. I screamed and the poor guy turned around and looked at it and screamed. His own poo scared him! Daddy cleaned up that mess.

June 21st, 2011

School called me yesterday at 5:40pm. 10 minutes before I would have picked up the boys. Camden had a 100.4 fever so he couldn't go to school today. He's home playing hooky with Daddy. He feels a little warm this morning but not hot. He just seems like he doesn't feel well. Poor guy!
I went for a mile long walk with Camden this morning. He pushed and I rode in the stroller. Took us 22 minutes and everyone that passed by commented on how cute I was.
Kellan was a big boy today and went to school without his brother. He owns the place now!
Oh my gosh so funny. I was laying out the boys' clothes for school tomorrow and I couldn't find Camden's shoe. I had one but not the other. I looked everywhere and was talking about how I couldn't find the shoe. So I said oh well we'll look for it in the morning. I went back to the kitchen to rinse out and make bottles for tomorrow and here comes Camden around the corner. With the missing shoe in his hand. I have to this day no idea where he found it. And the fact that he understood me and knew I was looking for it means I definitely need to clean up my language. Who knows what he's picking up now. That was the sweetest thing though!

June 20th, 2011

Kellan came home from Grammy and Granfy's in an orange and blue onesie. He then proceeded to sleep in said onesie. And is currently adorning that same onesie at school today. We're great parents.
We had Nana here all week taking care of the boys for us and then when she left we dropped them off at my parents. Once again...  great parents. :)
We need to look into new formula for Kellan. The poor guy seems like he has stomach issues. When I fed him at 4 this morning he screamed like he was in pain. Poor thing! I couldn't calm him down but of couse after 2 minutes with Super Dad he's in his pack and play snoring away with a smile on his face.
Camden was so whiny this morning. Not even his TV girlfriend Genevieve could make him smile. I hope he's not coming down with something. He hasn't been sick in a long time though. He's been pretty good.
Both boys are back at school today after a week off. The teachers looked happy to have them back. That's because my kids are everyones favorites.

June 17th, 2011

I opened my lunch (that Nana has packed me all week) and found a drawing from Camden in there. That just made my day!
Sorry to have so many booger posts, but that's just our life right now. Camden picked his nose for the 1st time this morning. (We're beaming with pride). He looked at it and then wiped it on Dad's shirt. I wish I could have seen that. So funny!
He has a puzzle and put it together all by himself 3 times this morning. He's a genius!
I sat up and read a book last night and just held Kellan for a few hours. This is the life!
The boys are coming to visit me at work today. I can't wait to show them off! :)
Camden loves to sit by the shower door while I take a shower and watch the bubbles run down the glass door. He's fascinated and can also say "bubble" now. This is probably a story I shouldn't tell him when he's older. It might scar him that he used to watch Mom take a shower :)
Camden and Kellan visited me at work today. All my co workers just think they are so cute!  One person commented on how they both have monkey ears hahahaha!

June 16th, 2011

Kellan had such a stinky poo poo last night that it made Nana gag! He loves his new formula! Luckily we captured all of this on video.
Camden came into the bathroom when I was getting ready this morning. Then he waved to me, went out and shut the bedroom door and came back over towards me. He proceeded to throw his monkey at me and then give me a huge hug around the legs. You can't get mad at that!
We signed Kellan up for swim classes today. Now both boys have swim lessons on Saturdays. We need to get Kellan a little speedo now.

June 15th, 2011

Cowbell is 3 months old today! We took care of him last night (the Gall of Nana!) (Ha! that's funny in more ways than one!) He got up at 2am and 5am. Nick was a little chatty while he got up with him at 5. Kellan was all open mouth grins at Daddy this morning. He LOVES Dad!
Camden got a hold of the kleenex box this morning. He looked at me with a booger and 75 tissues laying all over the floor around him.
Nana made Camden eggs this morning. He couldn't get enough. He would shove them in his mouth and then point to the counter for Nana to get him more eggs. I did the same thing.
Nick put Camden's puzzle up and out of his reach because he was throwing the pieces everywhere. Camden walked over quietly to where it was, put his head down and sobbed with his monkey ears flapping. Poor thing!
I love when we're taking Camden "bye bye" and we open the back door to the garage. He walks to where the step in and just sticks out his hand for one of us to grab it and help him down the step. He doesn't take the time to look at us or say please, that hand just comes flying out. Of course the other hand is usually holding a bottle.

June 14th, 2011

Today Camden is wearing a 3-6 month top and 9 month pants. Sigh. :) He was playing all morning with the laundry basket. He has all of his toys in the basket. Maybe I'll start teaching him to do laundry before he's potty trained.
Nana kept Kellan again last night. I feel so refreshed getting a full night sleep. She said he got up at 12 and 3:30. And at 3:30am he wanted to stay up and play! Needless to say Nana's taking a nap this morning.
I'm going to pick Camden up after work and take him to Target with me. I need to get a few things and Camden loves shopping!
Took Camden to Target. He was having a riot in the cart. On the way home I was chatting his ear off. Little did I realize he had fallen asleep and wasn't listening to a word I said...

June 13th, 2011

Nana and Dad took the boys to Anthem today where Dad works. Nana took them to WalMart up there and said Camden was charming all the ladies. He was eating a snack and waving to the girls with a booger hanging out of his nose.
Just got a picture of Camden waking up from his nap. He doesn't look like a happy camper. He probably misses his mom.
Kellan got a bath yesterday, so he smells like a lavendar stinky boy now!

June 12th, 2011

Camden was playing with his toy pony and accidentally turned on the sound. He screamed and ran faster than I've ever seen him run before. Broke my heart, but I did laugh.
Today is Nana and Grampa Tilley's 35th wedding anniversary. We celebrated by making Nana take Camden and I grocery shopping and now she's cooking us dinner.
Camden's new game is putting pillows by the couch and jumping off the couch on to them. This new game about gives Mom a heart attack. But he just belly laughs and thinks it's the most fun ever.
Kellan is due for a bath. He's the stinkiest cutest guy ever!

June 11th, 2011

Camden is 20 months old today. I am 399 months! We went out to lunch today with Nana. Camden had fun playing pool and darts and flirting with the waitress. Kellan's been fussy today. I hope he's not getting sick. No nap again for Camden. He's too busy having so much fun!

Friday, June 10, 2011

June 10th, 2011

Nick cut Camden's nails this morning and there was a little mishap. Camden has a band aid and they just happened to be learning about band aids on Special Agent Oso!
Kellan slept in the pack and play last night (instead of the swing) and did pretty good. He whimpered a few times but I shoved... I mean gently placed the pacifier in his mouth and he went right back to sleep. It's good to have Nana here. She got Camden this morning when he got up and I got to sleep a little longer. Not too much longer though because Nick was bugging me.
Camden has been riding the bike he got from Great Grand Aunt Paula like crazy. He loves it. He puts his toys on it and takes them around for a ride.
Kellan talked and talked to Nana when she got here yesterday. He smiled so much!
Camden and Kellan are both home with Nana today. We wish her the best of luck :)

Thursday, June 9, 2011

June 9th, 2011

Nana's coming to visit today. Camden has been saying Nana. Hopefully he'll show off this skill while she's here. I dropped Camden off at school and he walked in the door and just stared at his hands. The teacher was laughing and I said Camden don't draw attention to the fact that we need to cut your nails!
Kellan was all smiles again today when I dropped him off. He loves school... for now.

Wednesday, June 8, 2011

June 8th, 2011

We had a good night last night. Camden was a little whiny since we're weaning him off the bottle. He went to bed with tears. Just breaks my heart, but I know he'll forget all about bottles soon. Now if we can just stop him from grabbing Kellan's pacifier out of his mouth.
Kellan slept from 7pm to 2am which was great. He'll only sleep in his swing though so one of us has to sleep out on the couch with him. That's ok though. It's not like Nick and I are like normal married couples. I got pregnant 3 months after the wedding and have been pregnant ever since.
Nick took the boys to school today. Good break for me. That's a lot of work! A parent commented on how cute Kellan was. She said he was getting so big. We never look at or notice the other kids at school so it cracks me up that other parents know our kids and are watching them grow.
Camden is talking up a storm now. New words are cracker and bubbles, but my favorite will always be "Turtle!"
We're excited for Nana Tilley to come visit tomorrow so she can help... I mean see the boys.
Vote for Camden http://photos.parents.com/category/vote/photo/892581?esrc=nwphotofaves3

I took Camden to swimming by myself tonight. Nick stayed home with Kellan. Camden swam underwater to the edge of the pool and started to climb out. I was so proud! One of the kids there, Cooper,  was doing really well and I found out he was the same age as Camden. I told Cooper's mom that he was doing so well and she said Camden does a lot better when Nick takes him. Sigh... :)
We're going to try to get Kellan in lessons too. They accept kids at 1 month.

June 7th, 2011

I'm not quite sure how to "blog", but here goes.
Camden and Kellan are at such fun ages and doing cute things every day, so I wanted to find a way to document before I forget.
Camden just moved up to room 3 at school and we bought him his first potty. Kellan is starting to smile and coo a lot. Mostly at Dad, but he smiles at Mom on occasion.
I'm getting used to carrying them both at the same time. If this doesn't help get me in shape nothing will.
I dropped Camden off at school full of boogers and drool. Kellan was all smiles and dimples today for Miss Allison.
Camden's teacher told me he rolled off his mat during nap time and was startled. They patted him back to sleep and he was fine
Kellan is 12 weeks old today
