Camden: Kellan, if you play football with me, I'll let you start off with 10 points!
Kellan: Ok! Are we playing to 10?
Kellan had his 5 year old check up today. He weighs in at 29lbs and the doctor said he is hilarious. Success!
As we were dropping Kellan off at school, I told the boys to say have a good day to each other. Simultaneously, they said, "Have a good day stinky brother!"
We were watching a cartoon, and there was a fish in a fish tank. Kellan asked if that was kinetic sand in the bottom of the tank. He can't spell his last name, but the kid sure knows his kinetic sand...
The boys had a blast at Take Your Kids to Work Day. The kids were all in one of our meeting rooms watching a movie. There were at least 30 kids in the room. Kellan was in the front row. I peeked my head in the door to check on him, and at that very moment, he stood up, giggled and yelled "EXCUSE ME I SHOT A DUCK!" I think a normal mother would have slowly backed out of the room inconspicuously. I ran up and high fived him...
Kellan and I were playing football. He decided I was the Detroit Red Wings and I threw the ball one point...
Kellan: Mom, I can't wait to be 18
Me: Why?
Kellan: Because I can't wait to be human
I just realized that when Granfy picks Kellan up from school and he signs the state mandated book to check Kellan out of the facility - he signs his name as Granfy...
Camden and I picked Kellan up from school. We live about 3 minutes away from school, but both boys insisted they had to go potty so badly we needed to go at school. We were in the bathroom for about 45 minutes. I think they actually emptied their bladders, but I definitely know they were singing Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, at the top of their lungs....
The boys were loudly crunching on some candy. I looked in the rear view mirror and said, "Wow that candy must be crunchy!" Camden pulled the candy out of his mouth, inspected it, and said, "This candy really got damaged!"...
We were all playing hide and seek. When it was Kellan's turn to seek, he came running in the room asking, "Do you know where you are?!"...
At dinner, Camden picked up the pepper and said, "these will give you the ah-choo's!"
Camden is usually the first one up. I was surprised when Kellan popped his head in first one morning. Camden got up exactly 2 seconds later, and came sauntering in announcing, "I guess I slept in". With a huge grin...
When we pass cars that have NFL logos on them, Camden always knows the teams. The other day we passed a Broncos fan and Kellan yelled, "Denver Broncos!" I said, "Wow, Kellan! How do you know all the teams now, too!" Camden sighed, "Ugh, I've been teaching him them for years!"...
Camden was looking down at his feet and decided one foot was bigger than the other. He looked at me stoically and said, "I'm living crooked, Mom"...

Happy Mother's Day, Mommy! You are the best and I am so blessed to have you.
Ok, enough shenanigans :)
Kellan was in the middle of a story when a car pulled out right in front of me. I said, "really, dude!" (To the driver) and Kellan said "Yes!" and continued with his story...
When we say our prayers in the morning we all say "Amen!". Kellan didn't say it, so I looked at him and said, "Amen, Kellan". He looked at me and said "thank you". Camden, of course, found this hilarious and could not stop laughing. Two seconds later Kellan piped up with, "remember when I said 'thank you'"? I mean, I don't have the greatest memory in the world, but c'mon!
Last night Kellan woke up just sobbing. I ran in his room and he was crying and saying "OWIE!" I was freaking out and checking him all over to see what could have happened. I kept asking him what hurt. When he finally calmed down enough, he managed to sob out that the red shark bit him. As I seriously looked around the room for a red shark I realized he must have been dreaming. When I told Kellan he was dreaming that seemed to calm him down and he fell right back asleep (after asking for a drink of regular milk of course), with no memory of this event in the morning.
Camden has sight words in Kindergarten. These include 'and', 'his', 'at', 'be'. After seeing his brother in Kindergarten for 9 months, Kellan has decided that he now has sight words from school too. These sight words include 'mountain', 'Cave Creek' and 'Deer Valley'. What a preschool!...
Kellan's kind of figuring out how the family tree works. He understands that when he has kids, I'll be their Grandmother. I said, "you can choose to have your kids call me Grandma or Grammy or whatever you think they'd like!". He replied, "I'm going to have them call you Weather". Alrighty then...
The boys are so good and we always say our prayers in the morning on the way to school, I happened to look in the rearview mirror and noticed they were holding hands as we said our prayers. That's why I keep them!
The boys love the apple slices from McDonald's. Camden made a comment that he likes them because the crust (skin) is cut off. This made Kellan realize there was no 'crust' on the apples and he suddenly was mad about it. He declared, "I don't like McDonald's because they cut of the crustas"...
The boys were talking to twins. The twins were telling the boys they were born 7 minutes apart. Kellan decided to tell them he was 7 minutes older than Camden. When Camden and the twins looked at Kellan quizzically, Kellan widened his eyes and said, "I'm serious! See?! There's a 7 on my forehead!"...
