May 23rd, 2014

Kellan was walking around the house singing "The Farmer in the Hell". We didn't correct him.

I asked the boys where I went to college. They replied "French Fries". Yeah, pretty much sums it up...

I told the boys I was going to a conference in Minnesota and they asked if I could bring Nana back.

We were trying to get Kellan to take a nap the other day. He kept coming out of his room and we would put him right back in there. He was up but staying in his room. The air conditioner clicked on and slammed his door shut. I think he thought it was one of us because he laid right down and took a nap. Sometimes we use fear tactics for compliance from our children...

Kellan was asking so many questions one day, I just said "that's how God made it". He asked one more question and then said "never mind, that's just how that guy made it".

Kellan had his car carrying case that looks like a briefcase. He started walking towards the door, waved and said "Bye! I'm Granfy and I'm going to church".

Kellan was in trouble the other day (go figure!). I went to tell him he could come out of his room and he yelled "YOU'RE A BAD BOY, MOMMY!". Guess who stayed in his room a little longer?

Camden was walking through the house singing at the top of his lungs "YELWOW spells LELLOW!". Whatever you say Cam Jam.

Camden loves the days he goes to the "curdy road" school. He is just so anxious to get to go into Grammy's room. I make him sit with me while I'm getting ready for work. Finally, he said "Mom? When are you going to work? I love you though". That kid!

In Walgreen's, Kellan pointed to everything he saw, including NyQuil, and said "I want that for Christmas!". I told him he would have to ask Santa. Then I asked him, "Kellan? Do you think Santa would say you were naughty or nice this year?". He thought a minute then replied "Happy!". I think that about sums it up.

I'm trying to think of what to get Mrs. Duggan for a teacher's gift from Camden this year. Then it hit me, we'll probably get all of Camden's teachers a little something nice. From Kellan, we'll need to get really good gifts to make up for the year. :)
