September 19th, 2014 3

The boys know better than to drive their cars on the wall. I caught Camden trying to sneakily do so and gave him the "look". So not helping my anxiety at all, he said "when I'm big and you're in Heaven I can drive my cars on the wall."

I keep asking Camden the names of his friends at school so we can invite them to his birthday party. He just looks at me blankly even though they all yell "Hi Camden!" when he gets to school. Finally I said, we're not going to have a party until you can tell me one friend's name. He thought for a moment and said "Corn-Nick-Nick." Oh you may have won the battle, son....

I can't remember where we were, but it was someplace where we could hear our voices echo. Camden was in awe! He said "Mom! I can see my voice!"

Camden: "Mom, when you're mad at me you're funny."

We've stopped putting overnight diapers on Kellan, and he's been doing pretty good. He'll go to the bathroom by himself and leave the toilet seat up and the light on- but hey- he's going. One night he had an accident, so I sat down to ask him why he didn't get up to go potty. He looked at me earnestly and said "the bugs in my bed won't let me go potty!"

As if there were doubt Camden was my son, he's anxiously and painstakingly counting down the days 'til his birthday...

I have no idea where they got this, but as we were on our way to school, both boys asked for dinosaur coffee...

I was doing laundry and just so happened to be putting my Lions jersey away. Kellan asked me if I was "going to the football."

Nick: We need to hurry this morning. Daddy has a meeting at the hospital where you were born.
Camden" Are you going there to say thank you?

Kellan came running in the room and breathlessly yelled "Mom! We don't want to chew spiders, right?" I picked the wrong time to stop sniffing glue...

We told the boys if they kept having accidents overnight, they couldn't watch the iPaT (iPad) anymore. Both got up about 22 times to pee in the potty. Oh and of course, made sure we were up too.
