Now when I ask Kellan a math problem his response is "really gurl?" as if the problem is ridiculously easy. Then I asked him what 100 plus 100 is. He replied "I'm busy".
In the bath, I always tell the boys not to drink the water because it has soap in it. Also, they can get water from the fridge at any time. It's not like they're deprived. Camden all of the sudden yelled "MOM! Kellan drank the soap water!" Kellan stood up in the tub frightened, opened his mouth as wide as it could go and asked Camden if there was soap in his throat. Camden looked disappointed because of Kellan's actions, and said "No Kellan". The Kellan looked down at his pot belly and asked if the soap had made it down there...
The boys and I have been playing hide and seek with the football. When it's Kellan's turn to seek he comes out with his dimply grin and asks us where our footprints are so he can find the football.
Quote from Camden; "What's 20 in Spanish? Tell me girl!"
The boys needed a bath because they had wood chips from the school playground everywhere. And I mean everywhere - like in their ears too...
Camden started to whine about something. I asked him if he was really going to start whining. He replied "Yes I'm going to whine!".
Kellan was debating on if he wanted to take a bath or not. I told him he was stinky so he needed to. He looked down at his body and said "Oh gosh! I do stink!"
Actual quotes from the boys one right after the other;
Kellan "If we eat soggy graham crackers we might turn into a book".
Camden "I'll do anything for you Mom".
The boys were getting ready to go to Grammy and Granfy's. For some reason Camden had Kellan's iPad and Kellan had Camden's. All of the sudden Camden stopped and looked at me and said; "Oh no! Granfy's going to think I'm Kellan because I have his iPad!".
I heard Camden stirring in the middle of the night so I went in there. All of the sudden he shot up in bed and yelled "Kellan took my juice box!" I froze not quite knowing what was going on. (Nothing new). Then tiptoed out of the room when Camden laid his head back down...
I was asking Camden to do something and he wasn't complying. I yelled "Do you hear me?!" He replied casually "no"...
They must be starting to make Father's Day gifts at school. Camden informed me that since he is a boy, he gets gifts for Father's Day as well...
