So working from home full time with the boys on summer break has been - ummm challenging. I know I've said this before, and they are amazing thoughtful boys, but they are 9 and 10, and I have a very demanding job. I gave them a heads up that I was getting on a call just now. I wanted to make sure they at least were warned not to come in yelling full blast for a few minutes. Little Kellan's voice from the living room called out - "Good Luck Mom! Hope you don't get fired!" Well that was the ego boost I needed for this call...
So not that Camden has many enemies, but he does call it "arch nemeny"...
Camden was pooping (go figure) and Kellan kept yelling - "Fire in the hole!" This is 100% absolutely why I keep them...
So I may be providing too much of a Catholic upbringing for the boys. Back when we were allowed out in public, Kellan wanted to ask the cashier something. He was like, "I'm going to ask that guy. What are they called, Altar Servers?" Ummmm.... cashiers...
On the way to school a few months ago when we were allowed out in public, I said, "make sure to put that in there neatly and zip up your backpack." Camden replied, "I always do, Mom," and Kellan said, "I assume she's talking to me."...
To myself I muttered, "Dude! I need to learn how to iron!" Camden's monkey ears perked up and he said, "Gridiron?"...
The most annoying sound in the world, according to my Cow, is the peeling of a banana. That, my friend, is coming from a sweet innocent person that doesn't suffer from anxiety, or the true disorder of noise issues. Even if he did though, we would help him through it and not just reprimand him for an issue. Poor Camden does have this issue, and I will never let anyone treat him badly for something out of his control.
