So Camden has been using his iPad from "Great Uncle Paul" and is asking me words to spell so he can type them in. I was spelling fish for him and said "f". He asked if I had said "f" or "s". I said "f" as in Frank. He looked at me like I was crazy and I don't blame him.
We took the boys to see Disney on Ice. They were SO excited. Kellan was begging for one of the "splashlights" (flashlights) they were walking around selling. Of course Granfy jumped up to go buy the boys one. Kellan wanted to go with Granfy, but I told him then he'd be missing the show. He asked if we could pause it. Maybe I didn't mention this was Disney on Ice LIVE...
We were in the car on the way home from school and Kellan asked "Mom, can I think about my iPad?" Uh sure?...
Usually the boys are saying something hilarious when I'm driving. So obviously I'm not going to text it to myself so I can remember, but if I don't write it down quickly, I'll never remember (I have the memory of a 106 year old).
So I've been using voice text/email to send it right away. The boys find this absolutely hilarious.
Here's how it goes every time;
Me into phone (MIP) Email Carrie Tilley
Backseat drivers (BD) Email Carrie Tilley
Phone (P) Which Carrie Tilley?
(BD) Which Carrie Tilley?
I voice enter what I want to say
(P) Ok, I'll send it
Camden ok I'll send it
Kellan ok I'll seb it
This may not sound very funny, but the belly laughter from the back seat drivers is hilarious...
Ok, I know the boys are only 4 and 5, but every single time I take them in to Albertson's, they run wild like it's an amusement park. About 3.2 minutes into the trip, I question, not only the meaning of life, but why I decided to bring them in the store. I finally turned to Kellan, bent down, and gave him my most stern Mom face. I said "Kellan! Why can't you be good in a store?!" His reply? "Because words keep coming out of my mouth."...
Kellan was messily (do I even need to add that point) eating Doritos while we were watching Camden swim. You could see the parents keep moving seats away from us because he was eating like the Tasmanian Devil and orange was flying everywhere. He turned to me and said "My lipstick is on fire!!" I looked at him wondering where he got lipstick from the last 3 seconds I had been looking at him. Then I realized the spicy Dorito residue was around his lips like a lovely orange colored lip balm. Even the parents that had run away laughed at that one...
Lately Kellan's really been slacking on saying please. I asked him where his manners were. He thought a minute and then pointed to the ceiling. Up there says please and I say thank you...
Camden said "Mom, I love you 601,225." Not to be outdone, Kellan said "and I love you 12." I know parents aren't supposed to play favorites but...
