Kellan calls touchdowns "touch the grounds"...Sigh...

Saint Nick came to visit the kids at school. Kellan was telling me the story of Saint Nick and happened to mention that Saint Nick's parents died because they got bit by a jaguar. I don't really have the time to Google if that's true...

Kellan was being his usual nutty self and made Camden mad. Camden crossed his arms, scowled, looked at Kellan and said, "You're lucky you're cute kid"...

Once again, I know I say this quite often, but I would give anything to be in Kellan's head. I should put a video camera in the car and just record what comes out of his mouth while in the car. This is what happened the last time I picked him up from school. "Mammals are warm blooded. You're a mammal, Mom. You're hot. Like the sun. The Son of God". I can't...

The boys are so cute and proud of themselves for knowing what AM and PM means. Kellan looked at the clock in the car and said, "Wow! AM went by really fast today!"...

There is a Panda Express opening right by our home. Kellan seems to think he knows exactly when it's going to open. We drove by the other day and I said, "Look, Kellan! Panda Express has now open signs up!" Kellan responded, "Mom, I told you Panda Expression was going to open today"...

I had just got through asking Camden to please not yell through the house for me. If he needs something, he needs to come find me. We have had this conversation several times. I heard, faintly at first, "Don't yell through the house. Don't yell through the house". The sound got closer and closer. Then I realized Camden was limping toward me. He had bumped his leg on the table and was bleeding a little. I went running to him immediately and got him a band-aid and cleaned him up. Of all times, now he remembers how I ask him to not yell through the house. Poor sweet guy! Obviously it wasn't a huge injury but my heart just melted that he respects me enough to do the right thing no matter what. I love this Monkey!

Kellan was having, let's say, a little trouble concentrating on Mass. When the priest was blessing the bread, I whispered to Kellan, "Look! That's the body of Jesus! He died for our sins". Kellan looked at the bread, looked back at me, rubbed his stomach and said, "Yuuuuummmmmm!" Oh dear God, you made this kid, please forgive him!...

While moving and unpacking, I came across a genuine treasure! I found a tape of a recording I made at Cedar Point. That was one of my most favorite things as a child. Going to Cedar Point and getting to be a recording artist. I played it for the boys and was trying to explain how I got to do this. For some reason, they have in their heads that I was up on a stage singing in front of millions of people. I'm not going to lie. While I did not confirm this, I did not do anything to squelch these rumors. Both boys were pondering for a minute and then Kellan piped up and asked, "Was Donald Trunk there when you were singing?"...

Kellan announced, "There's a kid in my class named Nathan, but his name doesn't start with Uncle"...

Camden is going to start playing flag football in January. He (and I) are ecstatic. While Camden was going on and on about this, Kellan asked me if there was a flag football NASCAR team...

I was exhausted after work, and the boys were running me ragged. I had just finally sat down and Camden asked for Apple Juice. I sighed and said, "Can you please just give me one minute?" Camden replied, "Ok, Mom. But I'm starving of thirst". Guess who bounced right up to get her son Apple Juice.
