Camden told me he knew what 4 + 4 was. We were laying on the couch, and I saw him count on his fingers (which was fine with me). Then he yelled "8!" I was so proud of him- until he told me, "I wasn't counting on my fingers, Mom. They were just moving by themselves".
Kellan's teacher pulled me aside the other day and told me she had to tell me something funny. She said she makes Kellan let her know every time he's going to go poop because he takes so long. I wonder if he's bringing his iPad in the bathroom with him...
We say our prayers in the morning and this was Kellan's:
"Hail Mary, Hallowed be Thy Name. Costco is on my side of the car"...
Speaking of prayers, I've been saying the Memorare and Camden's quickly learning it. Although, when we get to the part of "Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate", Camden says "Oh Mother of the Word in Carpet"...
I asked Camden to do some menial task. He looked at me and sighed heavily and said "I'll save the day, but I'm not a Super Hero"...
Reading a book one night, Camden pointed to a page and said "Hey! Those are pomegranates!" I didn't know what a pomegranate was until I was 33.
When there were commercials coming out for the Mr. Peabody movie, the boys kept asking to go to it. It finally came out to rent, and I got it for them. Kellan loved it and kept asking where Mr. Zeabody was.
I asked Kellan if he had any girlfriends at school. He replied, "Jessie has a green shirt that makes me love her"...
I was asking Camden who we should send Valentine's Day cards to. He replied, Uncle Paul. I said "who's that?" He replied "You know- the one that sent us the iPads!" Sorry Great Grand Aunt Paula. Sigh...
Also when I was asking Camden who to send Valentine's too, he got a shy little grin and whispered in my ear "Madelyn & Kendall (Hedstrom)... So cute!
