February 21st, 2015

Camden and Kellan were playing a guessing game. It was Camden's turn to guess and Kellan had to come up with something. Camden was guessing random items and Kellan asked what color are they? I don't think this game was constructive.

Nana asked Camden if he shot a duck. He looked at her with his big brown eyes and said, "No, your son did"...

Kellan came up to me and said. "I'm going to show you something I do, but you can't make a mad face". Not a good start...

Great Aunt Ann and Uncle George came to visit the other day. Camden left the room for a minute, and being the awesome Mom I am, I didn't notice. When he came back, he was so excited to tell me that he went potty with the door closed because we had guests...

A sad faced blue eyed cow came into my room in the morning. I asked him why he didn't sleep very well last night. He replied "I kept waking up because I didn't have puppy and Scout" My heart broke, and then I remembered I was so tired because the darn kid was up all night...

You know you're studying for a boring payroll class, when you fall asleep on the couch- your son wakes you up, and you proceed to tell him about garnishing employee wages...

I just now began rotating Camden and Kellan on the top bunk of the bed. Until now, that was specifically Camden's reign. Camden threw an absolute fit about having to sleep on the bottom bunk, and was up most of the night. In the morning, I had finally fallen asleep for the night, and he came in and announced "Hey- I slept pretty good on the bottom bunk!" We have very different ideas on what is "good".
