November 8th, 2015

We were grocery shopping, well, just walked in the door and Kellan screamed "HALO'S!!!!!" At the top of his lungs. Since I've been asking the angels and saints to pray for us, I got a little scared for a minute. Then I realized he was talking about the little oranges called 'halo's'. We honestly don't watch that much TV, but he must have seen and memorized the commercial. I went over to the stack and he looked at me earnestly and told me that only kids could eat them, not grownups.

Forward to this morning. Kellan asked me if he could have a 'halo'. I said yes, and while I had my back turned to get his milk (first mistake of the day wasn't until 5:37am. That's a record) - he had grabbed the orange and took a huge bite out of the skin. His face was priceless and of course Camden was the one who had alerted me to what was going on. I made sure to tell Kellan that if he was going to learn from a commercial, to watch the whole thing. 'Halo's' need to have the skin peeled off before eating. Needless to say, we've been giggling about this all day....

Kellan came around the corner with the cutest biggest dimply grin ever. Grammy laughed and said "look at that face!". Kellan looked seriously worried and grabbed and rubbed his face and asked "what's wrong with my face?!"

Kellan got a new puppy book full of stickers. He took it upon himself to cover his face full, and I mean full, of stickers. I found this hilarious and didn't take them off his face when we went into Walmart. We passed a guy that had a big mustache. Kellan pointed at him and laughed at his mustache. I looked at Kellan's sticker face and told him he was in no place to make fun of a guy with a mustache. Luckily the guy found this hilarious and we all stood there laughing.

The boys have had allergies or a little virus for a few days now. I keep feeling their foreheads to see if they're warm. When I was checking Kellan, he barely looked up and nonchalantly asked if there was a "Bieber in him"...

The boys were asking for candy - and pulling out all the tactics to get it. Kellan said, "You should give us chocolate, Mom. That's what helps us grow". Ok Kellan. Hit me in my weak spot. But I must say, it did sound like he was trying to convince himself as well...

Camden James Tilley is a full blown bike rider now! Thanks to Grammy and Granfy and his cool Ninja Turtle helmet!

I asked Kellan to say something funny. He said a few funny things and we all laughed. Then he asked if he could stop now...

Kellan was rocking and deep in thought. I asked him what he was thinking about. He replied, "toast"...

I asked Kellan how school was. He said, "A kid threw a rock at me when I was swinging, but that didn't slow me down!"...

Camden had to go to the bathroom really badly. We were really close to Grammy and Granfy's, so I said, "I'll hurry!" Camden said, "Ok, but don't go over the speed limit". Only him...

I surprised Kellan and picked him up from school early. He was so excited and started giggling. Then he said, "I thought a Christmas Tree was going to pick me up!"

I asked Kellan about who he played with at school. He said, "Mason". Then he wrinkled his nose and said, "But Mason smells like dirt and I'm allergic to dirt"...
