Kellan went from having no idea to any of the kids names in his class to knowing all of them. He was telling me an animated story about his friend Austin. He said Austin and kind of laughed. He said, "that's his real name. Well, his real name is not realname, but just Austin, well, not justaustin, but loooong pause "Austin" looong pause. That's it!" He was so proud of himself for getting Austin's name correct...
Kellan was in rare form this morning. Camden grinned, looked at me and said, "Kellan's 5 now, but he's still acting 4!"
Kellan came running out proudly and said, "I know what's in a turtle!". Camden and I replied, "what?". He yelled "TURTLE GUST!". Camden pensively replied, "I think you mean turtle GUTS". Kellan absolutely disagreed and said, "TURTLE GUST!" the rest of the day...
In the car, I gave the boys a little pep talk, reminding them they had to be really good today. Kellan sat up straight and said, "Good? I'm on it!".
