Camden was doing his homework tonight. He was at the part that involved counting and adding up. This was too easy for him, so instead of counting in English, he decided to count in Spanish. I could tell he was getting a little bored, because 'Scuse Me made one little whining noise and he stated, "when 'Scuse Me whines, I can't cooperate on my homework"...
Speaking of Spanish, Camden was telling me that they are learning Spanish in school. I asked him if Mrs. Weckerly taught this class, or if another teacher came in. I asked him who this teacher was and he looked at me and deadpanned, "the Spanish teacher". Ok, got me there...
The boys are still getting used to the 'puppiness' of "Scuse Me. This pup has energy. When he jumps on the boys, they are a little unsure, so I just make sure to tell them that's "Scuse Me's way of showing how much he loves them. Camden was being very sweet to 'Scuse Me, and gave him a chew toy. I said "Aw! 'Scuse Me, can you tell Camden thank you?". Camden turned his big wise brown eyes at me and said "he can't talk, so it's ok if he doesn't say thank you. I understand".
This was Kellan's revelation on he way to swim. The boys were laughing and Kellan said "what the?!". Then he thought and said, "Hey, Mom! Heck comes after that". A few seconds of thought, and then "are those boys doing - comes at the end". Yes it does, Kellan, Yes it does...
